The Politics of Dancing
Mitchell and Durant show realpolitik in action...
From the Shirley Temple movie, "Stand Up and Cheer"...now I won't have to track it down at the library. This is my favorite part of the movie.

Don't get your hopes up...
The new Susan Boyle album "The Gift" does not include a version of the Velvet Underground story-song about the guy who mails himself from PA to WI. Nor does it include other similar songs such as "Mother Upduff" by Can. It does, however, include the dreaded "Hallelujah" (not "Halleluwah" by Can); the popularity of which John Cale is partially culpable for. (Yeah, I ended that goofily constructed sentence with a preposition, syntheticproducts!) (A ridiculous in-joke, there...)
