I "saw" this yesterday...

...while looking for info on Stump. Here is Kev Hopper, Stump's bassist, playing musical saw on TV, maybe in 2004:

And a short improv by Hopper and Richard Sanderson:

Filmed by Rob Flint in Blurrovision.

'Kev Hopper and Richard Sanderson-improvising' was obviously filmed in the hold of the Phantasy ship after they hijacked it. URP!

The 'saw' piece makes me want to do a video blog of 'bad morning talk shows from around the world.'

I love the video of Kev Hopper playing the saw! When was this on TV?
He mentioned saw playing in Japan. I wonder if he knows of the annual Musical Saw Festival in New York - www.musicalsawfestival.org He might want to participate.

There would certainly be a lot to pick from...

According to the YT post, Hopper writes that it was around 2004, but he's not sure. You can read his story by clicking on the header. If you enjoyed this, you may want to look at Rhodri Marsden's rendition of "Wichita Lineman," which is up on Vimeo.
